Living Areas & Amenities

Sweet Bird Cabin is located on a quiet road, near the top of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by pine trees and boulders. There are great hilly walks around the neighborhood, and it’s only a 5 minute drive to the center of town.

Kitchen

This kitchen has been completely renovated, with a new dishwasher, electric oven and stove, kettle, Smeg toaster, Nespresso maker, french press, 4 in 1 hand blender, serving dishes, mixing bowls, kids plates and bowls.

Pantry Items provided: Nespresso pods, organic ground coffee, all varieties of tea, honey, Olive Oil, salt, pepper, cinnamon, thyme, oregano and ice.

Living Room

The wood burning fireplace is the heart of the home. Nothing compares to a crackling log on the fire, with a record playing in the background. You’ll enjoy a brand new sofa, 65” TV, marble coffee table, record player with a collection of of vintage vinyls, and a Sonos player. Make yourself a cocktail, get a book and chill.

Office/Screening Room

Work on your latest screenplay or fold out the couch, lay back and watch your favorite film on the brand new 75 inch Sony TV. Nintendo is set up for the kids, family games can be found in the closet, high speed internet available. This room is multifunctional, make it fit your needs.

Bathrooms

There is one bathroom on each floor, both with showers. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels are provided. The upstairs bathroom has been completely renovated with a lot of love. Open the window, smell the fresh air, and hear the sounds of the forest while you’re showering. Once you’re in, it’s nearly impossible to get out.

King Bedroom

This might be the coziest room in the cabin, with a King sized bed covered in linen, a small chair, vintage armoire, and private balcony with 2 seats overlooking the forest, this room calls for coffee in bed.

Queen Bedroom

Did we say the King was the coziest room? If so, the Queen is a close second, with soft pillows, linen sheets and duvet, a small desk, a comfy corner chair, a large closet, and two windows that overlook the trees, this room is all about deep sleeps and slow mornings.

Exterior

The wrap around deck, looking into the forest, with a lot of privacy, is what made us fall in love with the house. There is a BBQ and utensils, string lights, solar lights, 2 seating areas, picnic table & benches for dining. There have been deer sightings 20 feet away, squirrels, various birds, and lizards. At night, turn off the lights and look up at the stars, and remind yourself how important it is to reconnect with nature.
