A Small Town Big on Celebrations

Idyllwild is an amazing place to get away to, no matter what time of year you visit. In the summer months, you’ll find yourself enjoying the Memorial Day Art and Music Fair, during 4th of July you’ll be a part of the annual parade, and during Labor Day, there are multiple BBQ’s and festivities happening all around town that you can check out. Another big celebration is Mayor Max’s birthday (Mayor Max is a Golden Retriever and is the official mayor of the town). Int eh fall, you’ll be part of the Pride Under The Pines the annual Pride Festival, as well as The Great Pumpkin Festival on Halloween. In the winter, you’ll enjoy the 50 year tradition of lighting the tree in the center of town, and after a good snow fall, you’ll hit the local mountains to go sledding (you can even sled at the cabin, since we’re on a hill). Be sure to check these local calendars to make sure you’re coming up on your desired celebration.
